Steve and Michelle were never married. A child Julie was conceived of this relationship. For the first three years of her life Michelle would not allow Steve to see the child. When he did begin seeing the child it was only occasionally, at Michelle’s discretion. For that reason, Steve filed in court for “regular visitation”. Since that time it has progressed to Steve seeking “full legal custody as well as being the custodial parent” due to Michelle’s excessive consumption of alcohol.
Michelle has traditionally purchased an 18 pack of “Coors Lite” (her preferred beer) at the Grand Market. She was also a regular at the “Brooke Inn” every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday where she would often times leave Julie in her vehicle while she drank. As well, on numerous times, Michelle would be known to take Julie into the bar with her while she drank. She is also to have shots of whiskey with her beer.
In September 2014 Steve and Michelle appeared before a judge. At this hearing Michelle was ordered to have an alcohol and drug evaluation done, not drink while having Julie in her custody or for a period beginning six hours before she picks her up or he is returned by the father.
In February 2015, Steve retained the services of Palladin Consulting Group, Inc. to investigate the activities of Michelle prior to the final custody hearing scheduled in April. Investigators formulated a plan which included conducting physical surveillance before and after school drop off, physical surveillance to determine employment, obtaining household refuse, and installing a covert video surveillance platform.
The decision to retain Palladin Consulting Group paid off. Steve was awarded temporary custody and the attorney’s had this to say about Palladin and investigators:
“I would like to thank you for your participation of the custody matter of our client. Enclosed with this letter is a copy of the court order transferring temporary custody from “Michelle” to “Steve”. As you can see, your private investigation firm’s diligent work, reports, and testimony played a key role in establishing that she had been left unattended on numerous occasions and it is our sincere belief this information was a deciding factor for the Judge.
Our office was impressed with the quality of work and professionalism shown by Palladin Consulting and its investigators. We intend on recommending your firm to future clients in need of a private investigator.”
Palladin Consulting Group, Inc. was formed in April of 2005 as a licensed Private Detective Agency in the State of Nebraska (Agency License #458) to provide investigation services to individuals and corporations.
